Go Hotels Bacolod currently has about 60 to 70 percent occupancy and is almost fully booked for the highlights of the MassKara Festival in October, Beverly Jimenez, Go Hotels Bacolod acting hotel manager, said yesterday.

Jimenez said that since their tagline is #GoExploreMore, they aim to give the best value for their guests and also want them to explore Bacolod City. And to support the drive of the city for the MassKara, they are giving perks for hotel guests.

Go Hotels Bacolod opened in 2012, having celebrated their 10th year anniversary on July 25. They now have 180 rooms and offer quality service to business travelers and guests at an affordable price, she said.

They are re-introducing Go Hotels Bacolod and want to share to the world their commitment of cleanliness, their special offer to their guests. They also want to introduce their newly renovated superior rooms. The renovations started during the pandemic, Jimenez said.

“One of our specialty is catering to the traveler’s needs. Aside from our basic amenities, we have open wardrobe cabinets and an in-room wifi in our superior rooms,” she said.

They have already launched their Robinsons Hotels Mobile App for easier bookings which can be downloaded from Google or Playstore. Those booking directly with them can avail of 10 percent discount from their best available rates. Their 28 properties can also be viewed in their app, Jimenez said.

“It has been our mission to create great hotel experiences. We also give attention to our touch points – from predeparture to the check-in process, during their guest’s stay until their post departure,” she said.

They are also looking at partnering with tour operators and travel agencies and be able to offer tour packages, she added.

Jimenez said they got rid of the single use bathroom soap and replaced this with soap/shampoo dispenser and hand soap dispenser and also got rid of the single use bottled water and replaced it with water dispensers along the hallway as one of their initiatives for the environment and the community, which in their sustainability initiatives.

Joy De Mesa, Robinsons Hotels and Resorts group director for sales and marketing, said they have 15 hotels and hope to open more in the near future. They are also renovating and giving their hotels a fresh look.

Almost half of the Go Hotels Bacolod has already been renovated and painted in orange and gray. The renovations had been delayed during the pandemic, she added.

Go Hotels Bacolod also has a function room fit for small gatherings. The function room can accommodate up to 25 guests, making it the ideal venue for business meetings, and other small conferences.

Carmen’s Kitchen is now serving breakfast in the hotel and will be fully operational by October.

Besides its quick access to historic places, Go Hotels Bacolod is also near shopping centers, such as Robinsons Place Bacolod, which offers a wide array of shops and restaurants – Making it ideal for guests to worry less about their needs in the city.*
