The proposed establishment of the Victorias City General Hospital in Negros Occidental is inching towards to reality, after it was approved yesterday by the House of Representatives on its second reading.
Sponsored by Third District Rep. Jose Francisco Benitez, House Bill 8492 calls for the establishment of a P500 million Victorias City General Hospital.
Benitez said he is hoping that the Senate will act expeditiously on this bill, once it receives final reading approval from the House of Representatives.
He added that the establishment of a Victorias City General Hospital will provide Victoriahanons and nearby residents of the Third District wider access to affordable and quality healthcare, and most importantly help save lives in times of medical emergencies.*
