A house in Purok Narra Extension, Phase 4, Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City, was razed by fire noontime yesterday, resulting in damage amounting to about P172,500.
Reports from the Bureau of Fire Protection-Bacolod said that the house was owned by Hermeña Consigna. No one was injured from the incident.
Last Saturday, about P3.4 million worth of properties were destroyed in two separate fire incidents in Bacolod City.
Three houses were razed by fire and another was damaged in Zone 12, Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City, Saturday.
The Bureau of Fire Protection – Bacolod estimated the damage caused by the fire at about P2.4 million.
Another house was destroyed by fire in Zone Dalia, Villa Villeta, Brgy. Estefania, also Saturday which the BFP estimated to cost P1,050,000.*
