A housewife was found dead in her house in Purok Progreso, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City, at about 8 a.m. yesterday, Liga ng mga Barangay president and Bacolod Councilor Lady Gles Ginzales-Pallen said.
The family of the woman, who was in her 40’s, said she had no fever but experienced difficulty of breathing before she died, Pallen added.
She was immediately buried yesterday and was not subjected to a COVID-19 test, she said.
Meanwhile, former Bacolod councilor Caesar Distrito said the medical condition of his brother Singcang Barangay Captain Rosinie Distrito is slowly improving.
He is on a ventilator but is conscious and responsive through eye movements, he said.
The good news is that his vital signs is stable, while his heartbeat and blood pressure are normal and his oxygen level is continuously improving, the former councilor added.*
