A group art exhibition opened at the second floor of Robinson’s Place-Bacolod on June 18, featuring the works of members of Bellas Artes de Negros (BAN).
Titled “Hues of Arts”, the exhibit showcases the works of Jenevieve Abeto, Noel Martinez, Michael Leoncio, Dr. Vanessa Clair Castiller, Daryl Balmoria-Garcia, Joy Gicana, Asaph Lapatha, Alyannna Leonoras, Keith Joshua Panoy, Richard Hulleza, Ma. Elizte Lim, Swen Kate Lorana, and Patti Valencia.
BAN founder Abeto said the title, “Hues of Arts”, figuratively refers to the artists, who possess different styles of expression, which they are able to convey through the different mediums and motifs of their choice. No artist is inferior than the other but rather, they complement one another, similar to the beauty of the hue in each color.
Abeto said their group will be holding successive shows at Robinson’s Place-Bacolod and their upcoming exhibit with the theme “August Feels” will open on July 15 and will run until the 30th.*
