Authorities seized approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 during a late-night buy-bust operation in Brgy. Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, on March 17.
Police Regional Office Negros Island Region operatives arrested 42-year-old alias ‘Boy,’ who is classified as a high-value individual (HVI) and a resident of Purok Rosal, Barangay Taculing.
Joining the HVI in custody are two street-level individuals identified as 33-year-old alias ‘Kim’ and 34-year-old alias ‘Mar,’ both residents of Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.
Police confiscated a mobile phone, a motorcycle, and the buy-bust cash used in the transaction.
Operatives from Bacolod Police Station 8 conducted the sting following intensive surveillance and reports of active drug distribution in the area.
The three suspects are currently in police custody and face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
