Operatives of the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested a 20-year-old suspect with P578,000 in shabu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Vista Alegre early Monday morning, February 2
The sting at Purok Arao led to the seizure of the suspect identified as alias ‘Nok’ along with approximately 85 grams of suspected shabu.
The team recovered the illegal substances which have since been turned over for laboratory examination and official inventory.
The suspect is currently in police custody and faces charges for the sale and possession of illegal drugs under Republic Act 9165.
