Anti-drug operatives seized 50 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated P340,000 during an early morning buy-bust operation in Barangay 3, Bacolod City, yesterday.
The operation, conducted at approximately 3:13 a.m. in Purok Lubi, led to the arrest of a 22-year-old female suspect identified only as alias ‘Mimi.’
Despite being a resident of the area, police noted she was not previously listed in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council records.
The Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit reported that the suspect was categorized as a High Value Individual (HVI).
Police said she allegedly took over the illegal drug trade of her husband.
Reports also said that she was the supplier of the two drug suspects nabbed earlier this week in possession of 100 grams of shabu worth P680,000.
Following the arrest, the suspect and the recovered evidence, including 8 heat-sealed transparent plastic containing suspected shabu and the buy bust money, were transported to Police Station 2 for documentation.*
