Since the inception of Kisi-Kisi Festival in the municipality of Ilog in 1999, it has been a tradition of the family of Councilor Mark John Vargas to host a fiesta lunch party at their residence in Washington Street.
Councilor Vargas is among those behind the “kisi-kisi” when the town planned to name their festival, which is observed every March 25.
This year, Councilor Vargas and his mom, Remy, once again hosted a fiesta lunch which was attended by relatives, friends and colleagues in government service.

The visitors enjoyed the sumptuous food, especially the seafood which was abundant in the municipality. Entertainment was provided by Kerwin Uy, winner in the World Championship of Performing Arts, held in the United States before the pandemic.
On the other hand, Councilor Vargas also spearheaded the Search for Mr. and Miss Kisi-Kisi Doggie Competition on March 22 as part of the festival celebrations.
The canine contestants wore Kisi-Kisi costumes and took to the stage during the event.*
