The Bacolod Chicken Inasal Festival (BCIF) will open with a ceremonial grilling at the Manokan Country at SM City Bacolod on May 21.
The BCIF Grill Fest launch and countdown and the Piaya Festival grilling ceremony will take place at Megaworld’s The Upper East at 6 p.m. on May 22.
Activities on May 23 include the BCIF Food Spreads Competition at the Manokan Country at 10 a.m.; Chicken Inasal photo exhibit at Citadines Bacolod at 1 p.m.; San Miguel Beer Pairing and Food Tasting at Ayala Malls Capitol Central at 6 p.m.; Food Fest with nightly entertainment at SM and Megaworld starting 6 p.m.; and Sugba Fest at Ayala Malls at 6 p.m.
On May 24, a BCIF community run will start at SM City Bacolod at 5 a.m.; followed by a chicken inasal grilling workshop at the Manokan Country at 10 a.m.; sinamak and hot sauce making workshop at Ayala Malls also at 10 a.m.; and sinamak workshop at The Upper East of Megaworld at 10 a.m., along with other activities.
The closing ceremonies and chicken inasal arena dance competition will be held at The Upper East at 6 p.m. on May 25.*
