Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia receives food packs from Iglesia Ni Cristo’s outreach program “Aid for Humanity” in time for the birthday celebration of INC executive minister Ka Eduardo Manalo Friday*

Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Bacolod District Minister Bro. Dennis Almasco turned over food packs to Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia at the Bacolod City Government Center.

These food packs are from the INC’s outreach program “Lingap sa Mamamayan” (Aid for Humanity) and were distributed to various barangays in Bacolod City Sunday, in time for the birthday celebration of INC Executive Minister Ka Eduardo Manalo.

“We are here today, with my fellow ministers in Bacolod City, to fulfill the request of our Executive Minister Ka Eduardo Manalo. We have been doing this for many years now, every time his (Manalo) birthday comes. Now, we have decided to give these blessings to Bacolod City,” Almasco said.

Residents of Barangays 1, 6, 10, 12, 27, 35, 39, Banago, Bata, Handumanan, Granada, Mandalagan, Tangub, and Villamonte were the recipients of the food packs.

“We are honored. We are very pleased. We are happy that we are receiving the 3,000 food packs. In behalf of all the beneficiaries, I would like to say ‘thank you very much’ to Ka Eduardo Manalo,” said Leonardia.

Also present during the turnover were Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran, Councilors Cindy Rojas, Renecito Novero, Archie Baribar, Israel Salanga, and Carl Lopez; EOC executive director Em Legaspi-Ang, and executive assistant Butch Soliguen.

Also with them are Grupo Progreso members Jonathan Diaz, Cashmere Montalvo, Ed Guillem, Marlon Solidum, and Dr. Chris Sorongon.*
