The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of Negros Occidental successfully arrested a high-value individual which led to the recovery of more than P340,000 in shabu at Hacienda Antolanga, Barangay Tinongan, Isabela, Negros Occidental, on Saturday.
Through the operation, the suspect, identified by the alias “Yokyok”, 44-years-old and a resident of Magallon Cadre, Moises Padilla, fell into the hands of the authorities.
According to the police, the operation stemmed from a tip from a confidential informant regarding the suspect’s involvement in illegal drug activities.
Upon confirmation, the police carried out the operation which led to the recovery of approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu sealed in a transparent plastic with a standard drug price of P340,000.
The suspect is considered a big supplier of shabu in Isabela, with his source reportedly coming from Bacolod City, police said. Authorities were now acting to investigate and validate the suspect’s information.
The confiscated drug evidence was submitted to the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination, while the suspect is currently under police’s custody for proper legal disposition.*
