The JCI Senatorship is the highest honor bestowed on a member of Junior Chamber International (JCI) organization. It is a unique way to pay tribute to a member of his or her dedication and outstanding service on either the local, national or international level. It is a distinct honor by which a chapter recognizes the achievements of outstanding members while also enabling them to retain contact with organization for life.
The lifetime membership to JCI upon the recipients with his or her own number makes it a highly respected and prestigious honor. JCI Senator Number 1 was awarded posthumously to a Filipino, Joaquin V. Gonzales, JCI first voluntary Secretary General.*
