Operatives from Bacolod City Police Office Station 8 seized an alias ‘Jesus’ during a buy-bust operation at around 12:07 a.m. on Saturday at Purok Hollow Blocks, Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City.
The 43-year-old suspect, tagged as a street-level individual, is a driver and a resident of Murcia, Negros Occidental.
Authorities confiscated an estimated 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at around P102,000.
The suspect is now under police custody and will face appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Proper inventory and documentation of the seized evidence was conducted in accordance with existing laws and procedures.
Police in a statement said that they remain steadfast in its intensified campaign against illegal drugs to ensure the safety and security of the community.*
