The buy-bust operation of the Kabankalan City Police Station on Tuesday led to the arrest of 5 street individuals and the confiscation of P170,000 worth of illegal drugs at Purok 2, Barangay 6, of the city.
Based on the report of Kabankalan CPS, its personnel conducted a buy-bust operation, which was intended to arrest the subject, named as Ulderico Elerio, a 50-year-old married male and a resident of Sitio Cabangahan, Barangay Hilamonan.
The police said that while the poseur-buyer was transacting with the subject, another individual conspired with him, leading to their immediate arrest. The conspired individual was identified as Grepil Nakar, a 45-year-old tricycle driver and a resident of Sitio Mohon, Barangay Binicuil.
Moreover, Police Captain Sammy Gasataya said that the other 3 individuals nabbed during the operation were caught in the act of a transaction with the buy-bust subject. One of those was Leonil Tejada, 40-years-old and ex-military.
The police recovered 39 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 25 grams with a standard drug value of P170,000, and other drug paraphernalia. The suspects are now in custody while the recovered items were taken to the laboratory for examination.*
