Kabankalan Diocese honors 4 Negrenses

In celebrating the first fiesta of the newly opened St. Francis Xavier Cathedral on December 3, the Diocese of Kabankalan honored and gave special recognition to four Negrenses, in recognition of their exemplary service, and outstanding contribution to the faith community.

The awardees were Ma. Teresa Taganile, founding chairperson of the Ma. Teresa Charity Foundation Incorporated, Architect Glen Paul Celo, Dr. Aladino Moraca and Dr. Lycel Pacheco.

In honor of their dedication and support, each of them received an Episcopal Award during the ceremony held at the New St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Barangay Talubangi, Kabankalan City, which was conferred to them by Bishop Louie Galbines.

On Tuesday, Jose Cardinal Advincula, Archbishop of Manila, led the  solemn dedication rites of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral of the Diocese of Kabankalan, which was attended by 10 archbishops and bishops across the country, as well as clergy from different dioceses in Negros Island.*
