Kanlaon Volcano logged six ash emission events as of May 3, according to reports of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
In an advisory, PHIVOLCS said the ash emissions ranged from 19 minutes to one hour and 12 minutes, with grayish plumes rising as high as 900 meters from the crater.
The agency also recorded 49 volcanic earthquakes, 11 being volcanic tremors, which lasted from two minutes to 61 minutes.
Despite continued restiveness at Kanlaon, Alert Level 2 still prevails over the volcano.*
