Two more ash emissions were recorded on April 5 at Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) on Sunday.
The ash emissions lasted between 13 to 24 minutes, with PHIVOLCS also logging 12 volcanic quakes, including two volcanic tremors.
Ash emissions from the summit crater of Kanlaon volcano that lasted 18 minutes were recorded on Friday, PHIVOLCS reported.
Alert Level 3 (Intensified Unrest/Magmatic Unrest) remains in effect at Kanlaon Volcano.*
