Police MSgt. Jan Vincent Aguda Dela Peña of Bacolod City, who won medals in Karate Competitions of the World and Fire Games held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Provincial Capitol, on August 18.
He won a gold medal in the Individual Kata, Karatedo – 35 years old category; silver medal in the Individual Kumite, Sparring – 85 kg category; and bronze medal in the Team Kumite (Sparring, black belt category).
He is a member of the Special Operation Unit of Aviation Security Group, and a member of the Philippine National Police Karatedo Team who represented the Philippines in the competition.
Dela Peña and his family were welcomed by Executive Assistants to the Governor, Marie June Castro and Francis Velez.*
