Kenneth Llover believes months of hard work have him ready for the biggest fight of his young career.
With the help of PAGCOR-licensed sportsbook ArenaPlus, Llover has intensified his preparations ahead of his International Boxing Federation bantamweight title eliminator against Michael Angeletti on June 6 at the Aichi Sky Expo in Japan.
For Llover, ArenaPlus’ support has played a major role in helping him focus fully on training and conditioning ahead of the high-stakes clash.
The winner of the bout will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF bantamweight crown currently held by Mexican boxer Jose Salas Reyes.
The 5-foot-6 Llover carries an unblemished 17-0 record with 12 knockouts.
Erick Su, Head of ArenaPlus, said the company remains proud to support Llover as he pursues a potential world-title opportunity.
“Seeing Kenneth this motivated heading into such a crucial fight makes the journey even more meaningful for us,” said Su.
“He has worked extremely hard for this opportunity, and we know he’s ready to showcase his talent on the international stage. We’re excited for Filipino fans to rally behind him as he brings that fighting spirit to Japan.”
At this point, Llover, who spent most of his training in Tagaytay City, said he is in tip-top form for the challenge awaiting him in Japan. He is facing an unbeaten Angeletti at 14-0 (eight KOs).
And when the opening bell rings, the undefeated Filipino intends to put all that to the test.
The Filipino fighter is scheduled to leave for Japan on May 30 ahead of the official weigh-in on June 5, bringing with him the confidence gained from a productive camp and the belief that a victory over Angeletti can move him one step closer to a world title shot.*
