A 26-year-old resident of La Carlota City was arrested by local police authorities at about 8am yesterday along Bliss St., Brgy.1 Poblacion of the city.
PLt. Col. Lowell Garinganao, police chief led the apprehension of Wilkin Arevalo, of Purok Cosmos, Brgy. Ayungon for charges of attempted homicide through a warrant of arrest with Criminal Case No. 7731 for violation of article 294 of the Revised Penal Code or attempted homicide. The warrant was issued by Judge Maria Concepcion Elumba Rivera, of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) on May 17, 2022.
A bail of P36,000 was recommended for Arevalo’s temporary release. He is currently under the temporary custody of La Carlota City Police Station’s custodial facility.*YCN
