Pulupandan Mayor Miguel Peña ensured a landslide win in the 4th District for Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos.
The victorious tandem of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte claimed 81 percent and 68 percent respectively in a runway win of a total 15,499 votes that were cast.
Marcos dominated the polls in the municipality with 12,544 votes over Leni Robredo’s 1,803 votes while Duterte got 10,474 votes against Pangilinan’s 2,006 votes.
The numbers proved that in the town of Pulupandan, with 15,499 votes cast, a Marcos-Duterte win was brought about by Mayor Pena’s support to the team since the election campaign commenced.
Incumbent Mayor and Vice Mayor elect Miguel Peña won his first term as Vice-Mayor after ending his three-terms as Mayor while Mayor elect Lorenzo Eduardo Mario Suatengco will serve his first term, following the footsteps of his father, former Mayor of Pulupandan Antonio “Tony” Suatengco.*Edu Pillora/YCC
