Mayor Evelio Leonardia will launch a comprehensive package for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) today, April 9, in a 10 a.m. program at the Bacolod City Government Center lobby.
Bacolod-based MSMEs, which comprise about 95 percent of registered businesses operating in the city, have been invited to attend the event.
“This will jumpstart Bacolod’s economic recovery program. Our exit plan after the health crisis. We remain steadfast in our commitment to help MSMEs as they re-boot their operations, especially now that Bacolod is under Alert Level 1,” Leonardia said.
Dubbed as “Bangon Negosyo”, the MSME support program will revolve around the sub-themes of empowering small businesses and jobs creation in the post COVID-19 pandemic period as Bacolod enters the new normal.*
