Local Gov’t Academy holds refresher course for officials

A three-day Transformative Leadership for Elevated Governance: Refresher Course for re-elected officials in Negros Island Region (NIR) was recently conducted by the Local Government Academy at the Citadines Bacolod. 

The event was participated by local chief executives and legislators from across the NIR, including mayors, vice mayors, and councilors.

As a program partner of the DILG-Negros Occidental, Project C.A.R.E.S. (Community Activities Reaching to Everyone through Services) exhibited their programs showcasing innovative strategies, highlighting its framework and best practices extended to governments in Negros Island, in the country, and up to the global level.

Project C.A.R.E.S. together with the Negros Kali International Association, Red Cross, TESDA, DOH-NIR participated in the exhibits.*
