The Land Transportation Office – Negros Island Region (LTO-NIR) ordered the appearance of the motorcycle rider caught performing a dangerous ‘superman’ stunt on public roads in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental.
The move comes after video and photo evidence circulated online, showing the individual lying flat on his motorcycle while in motion, a reckless act that authorities say poses a threat to the rider and all other road users.
The LTO-NIR, in coordination with its Intelligence and Investigation Unit (IIU), has issued a direct order for the rider to immediately present himself and his motorcycle to the regional office for proper verification.
The agency warned that failure to voluntarily appear may result in the issuance of a Show Cause Order and the initiation of formal legal and administrative proceedings, which could include hefty fines or the suspension of driving privileges.
The LTO-NIR urged the public to cooperate with the authorities by providing any information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the rider.*
