The Land Transportation Office – Negros Island Region (LTO-NIR) flagged 24 traffic offenders during a focused enforcement operation across the province of Siquijor.
The agency deployed personnel to Lazi, Larena, and the Siquijor Circumferential Road to ensure compliance with the Land Transportation and Traffic Code.
The crackdown resulted in the impounding of 7 motorcycles and the recording of various violations, including 6 unregistered vehicles, 6 cases of reckless driving, 5 unlicensed motorists, and 1 colorum van.
Authorities issued 12 temporary operator’s permits during the sweep, emphasizing that citing these violators is vital for strengthening road discipline and public safety.*
