The celebration of National Arts Month gathered together visual artists from different local art groups in an art exhibition titled “Likha”, which opened at the Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod City Sunday and will run until February 29.
The show was organized by Sugar Cuenca-Tonogbanua of Mixlada Art Group in partnership with Ayala Malls Capitol Central.
Guests of honor at the opening were Bodie Lamela, AMCC senior operations associate; Yu Jung Suh; Patty Jane Ku-Ong ,Art Association of Bacolod-Negros (AABN) treasurer; and Stephanie Chua, AMCC marketing manager.
The exhibition showcases the works of 46 artists who are members of the Mixlada Art Group, Artisticrew, as well as members of the Association of Bacolod-Negros (AABN), and other local art groups in Bacolod City.
Meanwhile, Mixlada and Artisticrew have an ongoing joint art exhibition at Robinson’s Place Bacolod that will also run until February 29.
The show titled “For the Love of Arts” is a project of Robinsons Place Bacolod and National Bookstore in partnership with Mixlada Art Group in celebration of National Arts Month.*
