The Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara, led by President Dr. Eric Malo-oy, recently conducted a mental health seminar on Sustaining Workplace Positivity and Strategic Planning.
The seminar, held in Don Salvador Benedicto, brought together Rotarians and Rotaractors to collectively address the critical issue of mental health in the workplace.
Rotarians Anna Panganiban and Dona Lastima, both psychologists, highlighted the significance of open communication, effective stress management and achieving a healthy work-life balance as essential elements in cultivating and sustaining a positive work environment and the club.
The importance of empathetic leadership and strategic planning was emphasized, underlining their roles in nurturing a workplace culture that prioritizes the well-being of leaders.
Rotarian Engr. Jovel Young, led a strategic planning session to evaluate the club’s overall health and identify areas for improvement. Several key points were identified that the club intends to work on in order to enhance its effectiveness and impact.*
