The Rotary Club of Bacolod-Marapara once again teamed up with Batea Elementary School in EB Magalona to participate in Brigada Eskwela in preparation for the school opening for School year 2024-2025. This year’s theme is ‘Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan’.
The event, a nationwide initiative to prepare schools for the upcoming academic year, saw club members distributing essential supplies including notebooks, pens and art materials to both students and teachers.
“We were pleased to have the opportunity again to assist students and teachers the Batea Elementary school. Work done alone is heavy, but together we can make school a haven for the students,” said past Marapara Rotary club president Lani Ferrer.
