The buy bust operation of the police on Thursday in Hacienda Lonoy, Brgy. Hawaiian, Silay City, Negros Occidental, led to the seizure of marijuana plants and suspected shabu from the arrested drug suspect.
Nabbed was Leo Abellar Capablanca, alias Leo.
The apprehension of Capablanca yielded an estimated seven grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P47,600, marked money of P3,000, and P1,000 in cash believed to be proceeds from sale of illegal drugs.
The Silay police also recovered two fully grown marijuana plants, estimated to be around 5 feet tall, and 52 more newly grown marijuana plants.
The confiscated marijuana plants are estimated at 2,000 grams.
Police have also arrested four other suspected drug personalities in series of buy bust operations in cities of Sagay, Victorias, and La Carlota, as well as in EB Magalona, all in Negros Occidental.
The apprehension of Jereson Espleguera at San Jose Village, Brgy. Poblacion 2, Sagay City, yielded an estimated two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,600, while seized from an arrested drug suspect identified by the police as Floyd Milabo in Brgy. 1 Poblacion, La Carlota City, were seven small and big sachets of suspected shabu, and P500 marked money.
The arrest of Roger Tolda yesterday in Brgy. XXI, Victorias City, also led to the confiscation of about two grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P13,600 and P500 in marked money, while an estimated P34,000 worth of suspected shabu was also recovered by the police from Romero Katalbas during his apprehension in Brgy. Madalag, EB Magalona.*
