Fresh off their performance at the 2026 Sinulog Festival in Cebu, the Barangay Tangub MassKara Dancers are now preparing to take their smiles to the international stage at the Cathay International Chinese New Year Parade in Hong Kong.
The group is scheduled to travel to Hong Kong from February 15 to 20, and their main performance is scheduled for February 18.
The international stint follows their successful appearance as a guest contingent in Cebu City on Sunday, January 18.
Secretary to the Mayor of Bacolod City Atty. Jose Marty Go said that the international trip will come at no cost to the local delegation.
The organizers in Hong Kong Tourism Board will cover all major expenses, including airfare, accommodation, meals, and guided tours.
The delegation will consist of 40 dancers, along with six additional personnel from the Bacolod City government to provide administrative and logistical support.*
