The MassKara dancers of Barangay 29 in Bacolod City, represented the Philippines in the International Show Parade 2026 in Macau last February 13 to 19.
Barangay 29 Captain Leonard Pascua headed the 22-man MassKara delegation in the International Show Parade 2026 held in celebration of the Year of the Horse.
The group’s choreographer, Segundo Jesus “Panoy” Cabalcar, showcased the vibrant choreography, colorful costumes, and signature smiling masks that have come to define Bacolod’s MassKara tradition.
The team’s participation in the international parade highlights the continuing global reach of Filipino cultural festivals and provides an opportunity to promote Bacolod’s artistic heritage abroad.
The Macau International Show Parade gathers 33 performers from different countries to present street performances celebrating cultural diversity. For the Bacolod delegation, the invitation marks both a cultural exchange and a chance to foster tourism awareness through artistic presentation.
