Dingcong, a native of Bacolod, was all praises for Benitez whom he called, “a maverick workasonic who is doing everything he can to make sure that the MassKara Festival gains prominence and Bacolod becomes a bastion of development in the Visayas.”
Dingcong is also spearheading the MassKarade Ball, a charity event that will be attended by the First Lady on Friday, October 21, at the SMX Convention Center in SM City Bacolod.
Some of the big celebrities that will provide much luster to the festival include Derek Ramsay, Ellen Adarna, Pops Fernandez, Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Vicki Belo, Scarlet Snow Belo, Hayden Kho, Puey Quiñones, Tim Yap, and Tessa-Prieto Valdes.
