The Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City ratified yesterday the memorandum of agreement between the city government and the Bacolod Yuhum Foundation Inc., as well as that of various barangays participating in the 43rd MassKara Festival from October 1 to 23.
The SP also approved the proposed traffic re-routing and road closures submitted by the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office during the 23-day MassKara celebration.
Meanwhile, the SP ratified the MOA between the city and Baranagys Estefania, 40, Tangub, 22, 7, Singcang-Airport, 34, 26, Alijis, 31, 27, Granada, 14, Alangilan, 12, Sum-ag and 35 for financial assistance in the amount of P200,000 for each of the barangay participating in the MassKara Festival Street Dance competition.
It also ratified the MOA between the city and Barangays 5, 32, 39, 20, 1, 17, 3, 29, 23, 6 and 16 for financial assistance in the amount of P150,000 for each barangay participating in the Electric MassKara 2022 competition.*
