The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has reported no major crime incidents recorded at the two festival sites, throughout the first seven days of the MassKara Festival 2025.
BCPO City Director PCol. Joeresty Coronica stated that it is a result of comprehensive security measures across all major event areas, activity zones, and public convergence points.
“That has been our objective – zero major crime incidents in major festival sites,” Coronica said.
The police director stated that only one theft incident was reported but it happened outside the festival sites.
“Our record during the weeklong MassKara Festival reflects the discipline of our personnel and the active support of the Bacolodnons and visitors who celebrated responsibly,” Coronica added.
He emphasized that the security record was made possible through the unified efforts and close coordination of the MassKara Festival Task Group, various law enforcement agencies, local government units, and private stakeholders.*
