McDonald’s Upper East celebrates 1st year with a free birthday party

Around this time one year ago, the excitement was palpable as McDonald’s The Upper East opened its doors for the very first time.

Today, the restaurant celebrated its first anniversary by taking a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about that momentous day. From the delicious scent of freshly cooked fries to the warm smiles of our staff, it was a day etched in the hearts of everyone involved.

The first customer to step in on that grand opening day holds a special place in their story as they were not just a customer; they were a part of the beginning. Michelle Mendres and her two-month-old baby Danica Mahilum are symbols of trust and a reminder of their mission.

During the anniversary, Mendres received a free birthday party for the 1st Birthday of baby Danica, as a gift, recognizing them as the First Customers of McDonald’s The Upper East.

The opportunity to make the family a part of the celebration was made through the efforts of Judy Gabriel, Executive Director of McDonald’s The Upper East.*
