The municipalities of EB Magalona and Murcia, and Victorias City got new ambulances to further bolster the delivery of basic health services in their communities.
Mayor Marvin Malacon said yesterday that EB Magalona received two ambulances from the Department of Health, facilitated by Rep. Jose Francisco “Kiko” Benitez.
Murcia also got two ambulances and the city government of Victorias, one.
Benitez said the ambulances will further boost the delivery of health programs and services, especially in far-flung communities of the 3rd district.
The blessing of the two ambulances of Murcia was held on July 20 at the municipal covered court, officiated by Fr. Regner Dequena, and witnessed by Benitez, Mayor Gerry Rojas, Vice-Mayor Johnny Reosura, and the barangay captains.
Meanwhile, Mayor Mark Golez turned over a new ambulance to the barangay officials of Kapitan Ramon in Silay City, Negros Occidental, that was purchased by the city government.
The Silay City Police Station also received two brand new 4×4 Toyota Hi-Lux pick up vehicles, through the administration of Golez.*
