The construction of the P900 million Provincial Administration Center is targeted to finish by June this year, with its completion currently at 50 percent, Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz II disclosed on Thursday.

The 7-storey PAC building, located at the North Capitol Road in Bacolod City, will house all the Capitol department offices, including that of Governor and the Provincial Administrator, according to Diaz.

Dynamic Builders Incorporated won the bidding for the construction of the PAC building, which started in 2022.

“I am hoping that they can really make good of their promises,” Diaz said, apparently referring to its contractor, Dynamic Builders Incorporated.

The P900 million budget for the PAC includes its furniture, fixtures, elevators, and an emergency generator.

To compliment the new PAC building, the Negros Occidental provincial government also established a multi-level parking facility inside the motor pool compound at Gatuslao Street, which can accommodate up to 114 vehicles.

The facility accommodates service vehicles of the province under the Capitol Cab system and vehicles of provincial government employees.

Aside from the ongoing construction of the Provincial Health Office bodega inside the motor pool area, Diaz said the provincial government will also construct storage facilities for the Provincial Engineering and General Service Offices.*
