Industry players implemented a minimal price rollback on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for July.
Starting at 12:01 a.m. yesterday, Petron implemented a decrease of P0.40 per kilogram on LPG. It also slashed AutoLPG prices by P0.22 per liter.
“These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of July,” Petron’s advisory said.
Solane-branded LPG also followed the rollback at 6 a.m. this day, cutting household LPG prices by P0.36 per kilogram.
The price adjustments reflected a decrease of P3.96 to P4.40 for a regular 11-kilogram household LPG tank.
LPG prices have gone down for three straight months. However, the adjustment for July was the lowest rollback since May this year.
Data from the energy department showed that the average price of an 11-kilogram LPG cylinder in Metro Manila last month stood at P970.*PNA
