A minor and three other drug suspects were apprehended by the police on August 25 in separate buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, that yielded an estimated P150,000 worth of suspected shabu.
The arrest of a drug suspect identified by the police as Benny Pepito in Brgy. Rizal, Silay City, yielded about 20 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P136,000, marked money of P2,800, among other items.
Police also nabbed John Paul Vargas, 18, and a minor whose identity is being withheld, in a similar buy bust operation in Brgy. Canroma, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Their apprehensions led to the seizure of an estimated one gram of suspected shabu with a market value of P6,800 and P500 in marked money.
The arrest of John Kyle Sumaria, 24, in Brgy. 6, Victorias City, also yielded four sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P2,040 and P500 in marked money, police said.*
