Oil firms announced mixed price adjustments effective today.
In separate advisories on Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell said gasoline prices would increase by 70 centavos per liter while slashing diesel prices by P1.15 per liter.
Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will likewise cut kerosene prices by 90 centavos per liter.
Other oil firms are expected to follow suit.
This is the second consecutive week of a rollback on diesel and kerosene prices.
According to the Department of Energy (DOE), before the price adjustments Tuesday, fuel prices already had net increases of P2.65 per liter for gasoline, P4.80 per liter for diesel, and P3.80 per liter for kerosene.
DOE data also showed that retail pump prices in Metro Manila range from P52.55 to P77.27 per liter, diesel from P52 to P75.85 per liter, and kerosene from P73.74 to P85 per liter.*PNA
