A 52-year-old married woman was arrested by the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit in possession of more than P714,000 worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation conducted on Thursday evening.
The arrested suspect was identified as alias ‘Inday/ Tats,’ resident of Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, Bacolod City.
The suspect was listed as a high-value individual but was not registered on the list of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council.
The operation resulted in the recovery of a total of ten heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing shabu weighing more or less 105 grams, including one sachet, which was the subject of the buy-bust transaction.
The suspect is now facing charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
