Four more police personnel were recognized and honored by the Police Regional Office – Negros Island Region for exemplary service, on March 9 at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, regional police director of Negros Island Region, who led the awarding rites, conferred the Medalya ng Kagalingan to PMaj. John Remo Evangelio and PSSg Joseph Afable, both assigned at the Regional Mobile Force Battalion – NIR, in recognition of their commendable performance in connection with arrest of a fugitive who ranked number seven in the PRO-NIR most wanted list, in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The arrested most wanted person faces five counts of rape.
The Medalya ng Paglilingkod was awarded to PCMS Rulymar Laquinon and PSMS Ronelon Reveche for having rendered 20 years of faithful, dedicated, and honorable service in the Philippine National Police.*
