The provincial government of Negros Occidental reported during the weekend that it has received an additional 17,000 doses of Moderna vaccines from the national government on Oct. 15

The vaccines are now being stored at the Provincial Health Office storage facility in Bacolod City, pending its delivery to various local government units of Negros Occidental.

It is expected to benefit 8,500 more Negrenses, as various city and municipal health offices, under the supervision of Provincial Health Office, intensifying their vaccination activities, with the arrival of more vaccines.

In the past two weeks, the provincial government received more than 100,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines from the Department of Health.*
