More skeletal remains found in Isabela

• RICHARD T. CABALLERO JR.

Another skeletal remains of an unidentified person, presumed to be a victim of Typhoon Tino, was discovered on Thursday in a sugarcane field at Zone 4, Barangay Bulad, Isabela, Negros Occidental.

Investigations by the Isabela Municipal Police Station revealed that the remains were found by a sugarcane worker while harvesting in the plantation.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered human skeletal remains lying beside the sugarcane plantation.

Police reports indicated that the skull still had strands of long hair, and the victim was wearing skinny jeans and briefs.

Recovered from the waist area of the jeans were keys to a motorcycle and a door.

It is believed that the victim was swept away by flash floods during Typhoon Tino.

The skeletal remains were transported to Nalagon Funeral Homes for proper disposition.*
