Mr. Football awardee to consult for NIR XI Girls

Elmer Lacknet Bedia, three-time “Mr. Football Awardee” with Renee of NIR XI, among the girls bound for Australia*

“Train the team for speed and endurance…core and upper body strength to bout with tall Australian booters,” said Elmer Lacknet Bedia, Mr. Football Awardee of Philippine Sportswriters Association for 1981, 1983, 1984, during an acceptance dinner meeting on May 24, at Aida’s Lechon Manok Restaurant, Bacolod City.

After concluding the Australian Futsal Elementary boys trip to the Philippines for the month of May, “Mr. Football,” the proprietor of Elmer Lacknet Bedia Football Club, Filipino-Australia Football Association, and a resident of Brisbane, Australia took the job title of lead consultant to Australia for the Negros Island Region 11-a-side Girls Under 15 delegation to the biggest soccer tournament in the southern hemisphere, at Canberra ACT, Australia set for July 13-18.*
