After an intense Futsal finals on June 19, Pamplona de Pontevedra was awarded as champion of Mundial de Futbol Girls Futsal held at Manville Royale Country Club.
Buglas Filipinas settled for a 2-2 scoreline in the final round that ended with a penalty shootout. The game started with what could’ve been a scoreless first half, that was broken by a freekick goal by Renee Gavriel Animathea of Buglas Filipinas, just as the half ended.
The Palarong Pambansa Cebu 2024 bound Pontevedra, scored a goal from a top corner volley and after, a combination goal, to secure a 3-kicker penalty shootout. After the shootout was over, Pamplona de Pontevedra emerged victorious, with a scoreline of 4-2.
The Mundial de Futbol Soccer series will be highlighted during the 9-a-side grand finals at Megaworld, The Upper East, for Girls Under 15 and Under 12 on July 18-19. This is In pursuant to C.O. No. 08-15-744, series of 2015 or “The City of Bacolod Football Week,” together with Mdot, Gardenville United Football Club, Inc.(GUTD) Academy, and Bacolod Lone district Congressman Greg Gasataya.
