The official representative of Bacolod City to the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 paid a call on the Sangguniang Panlungsod yesterday to ask for support and guidance as she prepares for the national pageant on May 1.
MUPH Bacolod 2026 Megan Clarisse Baldevia said “This journey is not just about beauty or competition. It is about representing who we are as Bacoleños, our culture, our compassion, and our commitment to excellence. I want the whole country to see that Bacolod does not only raise beautiful queens, but also empower women who are ready to serve, to inspire, and to make a difference.”
“With humility, I come before you today asking for your support and guidance as I prepare for the national pageant. Your belief in me will not only help me stand stronger on that stage, but it will also send a powerful message that our local government stands behind its youth, its women, and its dreamers,” she said.
“This is not just a dream, this is our shared opportunity to let Bacolod shine brighter on the national stage. With your support, I promise to give my very best, not only for myself, but for our beloved city,” Baldevia added.
Baldevia was also chosen as Ms. Acacia Hotel during the MUPH pageant in Bacolod City last year.*
