NBI Bacolod has new head

• GILBERT P. BAYORAN

A former head of the National Bureau of Investigation Anti-Terrorism Division is now leading the NBI Bacolod District Office.

Manuel Fayre Jr. replaced Atty. Renoir Baldovino, who had been assigned in Bacolod City for more than seven years, but has been transferred to the NBI Tarlac District Office.

Atty. Jose Gabriel Jr., NBI Bacolod District executive officer, disclosed that the transfer of Baldovino to Tarlac forms part of the regular reshuffling of personnel.

Gabriel said he was told by Baldovino he will just focus on his work.

Fayre is expected to arrive within this week to lead a mandatory annual team building activity of the employees, after the turnover of the NBI Bacolod District Office command, he added.

Baldovino is the longest serving Bacolod NBI District Office head, Gabriel said.

The NBI Bacolod District office covers the entire province of Negros Occidental.*
