The tournament, which will be broadcasted through a livestream, was made possible through the collaboration of the Abanse Negrense Sports Programs and the National Basketball Training Center, with the assistance of International Basketball Academy of the Philippines (IBAP).

Spearheaded by Program Director and Coach Frederick “Eric” Altamirano, NBTC is considered the biggest grassroots development program in the Philippines that provides a platform for rising teen basketball standouts, especially in the provinces.

The top four teams that will emerge from each regional championship will qualify in the NBTC National Finals dubbed as “Madness in MOA” in March. A Coaches’ Convention is also set through a partnership with SBP Coaches’ Academy.*
